A few points to consider when planning your entertainment programme:

  1. What time do your guests arrive at the venue?
  2. Are you planning a drinks reception before the meal? What type of music would be most suitable?
  3. At what time will the band have access to the function suite to set-up? (This takes around 50-60 minutes)
  4. Will you require music as your guests enter the function room for their meal?
  5. What time will your guests sit for their meal and will you require background music throughout?
  6. Are there any speeches, presentations, auctions or raffles? Will you require the use of a high quality microphone and PA system?
  7. At what time would it be appropriate to expect your guests to be ready to take to the dance floor?
  8. When do you want your evening entertainment to finish? Has the venue stipulated a time?
